Owner: Chronicle Books Architect: Mark Cavagnero Associates Construction Value: $5,871,000 Project Size: 76,900 SF The project consists of the construction of administrative and presentation facilities for Chronicle Books in an historic 1920’s building in the South End Historic District of South Beach, San Francisco. The work was tenant improvements with limited work on the exterior, and a rooftop photovoltaic electric harvesting system. mack⁵ was project, construction and cost manager for the project, assisting the Owner in establishing and managing total project and construction budgets, where a number of number of different options were evaluated and synthesized to meet the Owner’s requirements. mack⁵ also managed and monitored schedule and quality and the Owner’s vendors inclusive of IT, Data Telecom, Audio Visual, Move and Move Coordination, FF&E systems and loose furnishings and other disciplines. The project was completed on-time and on-budget.
