mack5 was hired as both Project and Construction Managers for this publicly bid project, and developed total project cost for the project, including the off-site works & temporary operations facility. The project required the police department – along with IT, 911, dispatch, communication and data systems – to be relocated to a temporary facility. The project had a number of serious challenges including foundation systems in a landfill site, waterproofing and essential services upgrade on a 40-year old facility. The facility was completed on budget, despite schedule delays due to unforeseen subsurface conditions.
