The Law Library, located at 200 McAllister Street, had low ceilings, limited natural light and confusing wayfinding. The renovation opened the space visually and improved operations, and was programmed with flexible spaces to accommodate any size gathering. In addition to renovating the Library, this project simultaneously executed a full seismic retrofit and code compliance upgrade for the building (known as Kane Hall). The work in total provided users with an accessible, comfortable and safe learning environment. mack5 provided cost planning/estimating and scheduling services for the project.
