The Thorsen House was built in 1909 and designed by Henry and Charles Greene – the renowned Pasadena firm of Greene & Greene – in the American Craftsman style of the Arts and Crafts Movement. The House is considered the last of four Greene & Greene designed and is the only one located in Northern California. mack5 provided cost plans for construction, total project costs and constructability analysis. Aside from preserving all significant interior finishes, the repair work for the “clinker” brinks was extensive.
